Internalization project: Icons, a Steve McCurry Exhibition

La Meccanica works daily with 60 countries around the world. We face every day different cultures in a continuous challenge on ever wider fronts.
The international expansion is continuous, as it is continuous confrontation, exchange of information and opinions between totally different cultures and ways of business.
It is following our internationalization policy that La Meccanica has decided to sponsor the McCurry "Icon" exhibition, a collection of 1000 pictures from different countries of normal people, workers, and rituals.
This sponsorship is a perfect symbol of our effort to understand and interact with different countries and markets

For the first time, the Veneto region presents a selection of over 100 photographs by the great American photographer.
The exhibition itinerary will accompany the visitor to discover his talent, with images of great emotional impact. The exhibition collects the photographer's multiple artistic and reportage experiences: starting from his first historic trips to India and then to Afghanistan where Steve McCurry had the opportunity to follow the Mujahideen at the time of the war against Russia. Sharbat Gula, the girl made famous by the front page of National Geographic, comes from Afghanistan.

Curiosity is the engine of his research, able to push him, since he was a teenager, to cross every border, be it physical, linguistic and cultural. In each of his photos, Steve McCurry tells us a story that, once revealed, is able to communicate the complexity of an entire context.
