It's with this spirit that every year we choose to support those who, in our area, work to make it a better place to grow, create, and be together.
Cultural and Social Co-working - Via del Folo Spazio Officina

In what was once a knitwear factory, in the heart of Cittadella, something else has been born. Seven hundred square meters have been returned to the community, transformed into a social and cultural co-working space where associations, cooperatives, artisans, and freelancers share not only space, but a vision: that working together is richer than working alone. Spazio Officina is more than just a shared office—it's a living platform, a meeting place between worlds that would otherwise not communicate. And it's also the natural setting for this season's most significant events.
Right here, in this open and welcoming space, two of the events La Meccanica has chosen to support come to life: the Svincoli Festival and the Circo Patuf shows. Two different events, yet profoundly linked by a common thread—the belief that culture, when it reaches children and young people, invests in the most concrete future there is.
The Events at Spazio Officina
Svincoli: a literary festival with circus performances, meetings with authors, and workshops for all ages.
May 21–31, 2026 · Spazio Officina, Via del Folo 21, Cittadella
Books change people. Svincoli builds on this belief and transforms it into a ten-day festival dedicated to those still building their relationship with stories and words—children, teens, families, teachers, and curious adults. Created by the Le Stere Bob bookshop, together with the Carovana Social Cooperative and the Spazio Officina on Via del Folo, the festival brings Italian and international authors to Cittadella for readings, workshops, interviews, debates, and hands-on activities. Not an event for insiders, but an event open to the entire community.
La Meccanica supports Svincoli because it believes in what it represents: a social network that engages schools, cultural workers, and families, offering a concrete space for growth. Workshops for children and teens, discussions with authors and experts, activities for adults, courses, and hands-on activities—a program that goes beyond entertainment to build community.
Circo Patuf: a traveling theater between dream and reality
May 22-31, 2026 · Outdoor area, Via del Folo 21
Under the Circo Patuf tent, adults become children again. Founded in 2010 by a group of artists who believe in the power of laughter, this traveling circus-theater company intertwines theater, music, dance, magic, and comedy in shows that are never just entertainment. In recent years, Circo Patuf has also chosen to address social issues such as immigration and conflict, dressing them in light-hearted ways to convey lasting messages.
This year, the Circo Patuf tent will be pitched in the outdoor area of Spazio Officina, nestled in the heart of the Svincoli festival, and will stage "SOLEDAD," a poetic and engaging show dedicated to adults and children alike.
A natural embrace between two languages—literature and circus—that share the same ambition: to amaze, excite, and inspire reflection. The shows will be held over the last two weekends of May, with afternoon and evening performances to accommodate all families.

The other event: Antiche Mura Teatro Festival
July 1-14, 2026 · Campo della Marta, Cittadella
When summer arrives, Cittadella becomes a theater. The Antiche Mura Teatro Festival has been carrying on a precious tradition for years: open-air performances in the historic setting of Campo della Marta, with the artistic direction of Teatro Bresci ensuring a quality program for all tastes and ages. A festival that transforms summer evenings into opportunities for encounter, where the audience is not a passive spectator but a living part of a community that comes together. And if the heavens don't cooperate, Villa Rina welcomes everything and everyone.
Three events with different approaches and audiences, but united by a fundamental idea: that culture is not a luxury for the few, but a right—and a necessity—for all. That today's children, if they grow up with good books, good stories, and good art, become the more informed adults of tomorrow.
